National Smiles Day

What a wonderful response to "Smiles Day". As a result of everyone's support and generosity we raised around $530.00. With this money, one family can be provided the following:

A goat ($40.00); Clean drinking water ($60.00); A toilet ($80.00); Train a teacher ($125.00); A donkey ($225.00). Everyone should be proud that we can provide such support to a family.

If you would like to see more about this program and a short video about a grateful family showing how the money is so well spent, go to the site www.worldvision.com.au

Soccer V Seaham

We played Seaham P.S. in the first round of the State knockout last week as the Paterson River Small Schools Team (Iona, Mt Kanwary and Hinton). The team played very well before losing 5-2 in a very entertaining game. Our school representatives (Jacob, Laura, Jarrad, Elizabeth and John) all played beautifully. The team did themselves proud as many of them don't play regular soccer.

Hockey victory

Our hockey girls (Neve, Laura and Drew) teamed with the Paterson team to defeat Telarah P.S. in the 2nd round of the State knockout competition 1-0 What a great effort--well done girls!
